TIME OF PROPHECY: Walking in the Prayers of our Ancestors (2023) is a documentary film featuring Indigenous wisdom, experience, and cultural knowledge in the context of COVID-19, climate change, and Indigenous Peoples’ healing and futurity.
Co-Directed by Audrey Kitagawa and Chris Peters, the film was produced by the International Academy for Multicultural Cooperation and Seventh Generation Fund for Indigenous Peoples.
Runtime: 30 minutes.
World Premiere at UNPFII23
TIME OF PROPHECY: Walking in the Prayers of Our Ancestors premiered on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at the Ford Foundation Center for Social Justice.
The premiere was a special side event to the 22nd session of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, focusing on the Forum’s 2023 theme: Indigenous Peoples, human health, planetary and territorial health and climate change: a rights-based approach.

Special Preview Screening and Discussion
On March 16, 2023, a virtual preview of the film was held, sponsored by the G20 Interfaith Forum’s Anti-Racism Initiative, in cooperation with the International Academy of Multicultural Cooperation and the Seventh Generation Fund for Indigenous Peoples.
The screening included a discussion with:
