Know Your Rights

In response to a call from Native community organizers, the Seventh Generation Fund for Indigenous Peoples hosted this event to explore human rights during actions and other frontline activities. We hosted this virtual event on October 28, 2020.

This capacity building gathering welcomed Native organizers and non-Native collaborators committed to Indigenous Peoples, human rights, community empowerment, and social justice. The workshop included presentations by Indigenous experts and our partners at American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). This included de-escalation and safety training, and dealing with white supremacist counter protesters, among other topics.
